Being an experienced biker, DJ is always equipped with adequate breakfast. Deciding to commence his journey towards Bairagarh Himachal Pradesh at 5:30 a.m., he consumed fruits and milkshakes from his luggage on the way. Even water can be really difficult to obtain on such terrain. The aim today was to reach Bairagarh before evening, crossing the green pastures of Khajjiar and the gorgeous Chamba Valley.

The scenery seemed too good to be true, making DJ pinch himself a few times. Enjoying the excellent views, he kept riding towards Bairagarh. He found out about Hotel Chamunda in Bairagarh, which was famous for offering beautiful views of the Chamba valley.

An experienced rider is always concerned about his ride, and DJ made it a point to find out about the nearest petrol pump. He realized that he would have to travel 20 km. in the opposite direction to a place called Khushnagri. The other option would be to move forward and buy fuel from local Kirana stores, but he chose the former. Not only did he fill the Bullet’s tank completely, but also got an extra 5 liters.

Having refueled himself on the way with lunch, DJ was now fully geared to check his beloved bike in detail. At around 3:30 p.m., he cleaned its chain, oiled it, and tightened various nuts and bolts. Assuring himself of the work done so far, he made a final electrical check. Dinnertime vegetarian food was made for him without onion and garlic. After a tiring day, DJ slept like a log at Chamunda, dreaming about his journey to Killar on the following day.

Leaving a job completely to start travelling and blogging is not always necessary, as I found out. Learning about different cultures helps one become a better person, which is often the only thing that matters.
