2. Dilwale- Panjim church
This was the shooting location for an important sequence in the Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale. This Gothic architecture church has a distinctive appearance due to the double flights of steps that zigzag across the hillside on which it is built. It is also called the Jewel on the Crown.
3. Dear Zindagi- Morjim beach
Beaches have been the favorite location for Bollywood in Goa. This movie immediately reminds us of the song ‘Love you Zindagi’, where Alia Bhatt is seen walking across the farms and Parra roads flanked by coconut trees. Millennials remember this movie as it has beautifully captured the essence of their favorite holiday destination. We also see a sequence where Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt play kabaddi with the waves at Morjim Beach and unlock their philosophies of life. This movie reconnected us to the Goan beaches in a different way.
4. Golmaal – GMC complex
Bollywood’s most entertaining comedy film series, Golmaal was the most iconic series of movies shot in Goa. The films have incorporated the Goan beauty in its entirety. 5. Singhaam – Dona Paula
The famous action sequence from the film between Bajirao and the goons of Jaikant was shot in the Dona Paula Jetty of Goa. There are many high-end hotels in this area, with restaurants offering Western and Indian food.

Goa is filled with many such waterfalls which are picturesque locations. One of the Waterfalls popularly known as Dudhsagar featured in the film Chennai Express. The height from which the waterfalls make it appear milky, hence the name Dudhsagar; it happens to be one of the most famous film shooting places in Goa. Located near the border of Goa and Karnataka, this 300m waterfall is a stunning sight.
7. Dum Maro Dum – Arpora market
This is a crime film set in the Arpora Market of Goa. The filmmakers have captured the movie scene with a real crowd of twenty thousand which makes the place more relatable and real. Even Though this film gives quite an unadulterated image of the darker side of Goa, it does make you want to visit Goa immediately. The Arpora market is a lively night market with a variety of items you can buy from. These destinations are perfect locations to travel to when in Goa. Out of the many films shot here, these have definitely captured the true essence of Goa
