1. Mughal Garden (Srinagar)

Mughal Garden is located in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. Its one of the most beautiful gadens in India. It was built in the Mughal era. Its majestic appearance is a result of the combination of three gardens- Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens, and Chashme Shahi. Each garden has its own unique qualities. Mughal Garden is considered the highest point of Mughal horticulture. It has a beautiful, long fountain that has become a major tourist attraction over the years.

Rose is the key feature of this garden as it boasts almost 159 different varieties of the flower, which blossoms in February and March. Other than this, it is a home of different and rare flowers, plants, and trees. This greenery is worth exploring. Travelers come here to explore the natural beauty of this garden.

2. Yadavindra Gardens

Yadavindra Garden is also known as the Pinjore Garden. The garden is situated at the foothills of the Shivaliks and was created in the 17th-century garden in the city of Pinjore, which is part of the Panchkula district in Haryana.

Its design is similar to the Mughal Gardens architecture style. The garden was renovated by members of the Patiala Dynasty. It lies 22km away from Chandigarh on the Ambala-Shimla road. This amazing garden has seven downward terraced lawns, domed balconies, three palaces, an amphitheater, a Japanese garden, and a small zoo. The entire garden is covered with marvelous light fountains that twinkle in the night, much like stars in the sky.

 

3. Lalbagh Botanical Garden

Lal Bagh Botanical Garden is a renowned center for botanical artwork, the scientific study of plants, and the conversation of plants. It is located in Bangalore. Lal Bagh covers an area of 240 acres in the heart of the city and has nearly 1,854 species of plants. This garden is perfect for nature lovers.

Haider Ali was the first person who planted these unique types of plants and species. It was later managed under numerous British Superintendents before Indian Independence. During this phase, the garden introduced the propagation of numerous ornamental plants which have high economic value in current times.

4. Rose Garden

Rose Garden is located in Chandigarh, India. It was named after India’s former president, Zakir Hussain in 1967 under the guidance of Dr. M. S  Randhawa, Chandigarh. The garden is spread over 30 acres of land and has 50,000 rose bushes of 1600 different species.

Rose Garden has a few unique plants that are high in medicinal value such as Bahera, Harar, Camphor Yellow Gulmohar, etc. This Rosarium is open to the public and is used to present and grow various types of roses and species. This garden is filled with beautiful roses and there are different varieties of class and colors in the rose bed.

5. Kamala Nehru Park

Kamla Nehru Park is a very different and unique park. It is located in Mumbai’s posh Malabar Hill. This is one of the most famous parking areas in Mumbai and a tourist hotspot. The park is well-maintained and adorned with amazing colorful lawns and flowers. The garden is a very peaceful park as it is located on top of a hill.

6. Brindavan Garden

Brindavan Garden in Mysore is a beautiful garden associated with the Kaveri river.

It is constructed on Krishnaraja Wodeyar and is spread across 60 acres of land. The breeze of this garden is truly relaxing. Light and sound shows are held here in the evening.
