Workation Trend is a new idea of relaxation with a combination of business. Through this, you can do your work and enjoy your holidays at the same time. During COVID-19, workation has become the most required thing as it’s best to break the monotony of work by venturing to a specific location. Too much work at a single location becomes difficult, with chances of mental problems over time.  A vacation is important for all of us as we were locked down in our house for a long time.

What Is Workation?

The word workation is a combination of two words work and vacation, and it means working during a vacation. In simple words, if you are not able to go on vacation due to your work then take your work along with you.

At workations, people work on beaches or mountains with their laptops while enjoying different activities like swimming, trekking, biking, etc. This period is mostly for individuals who are freelancers and work on their own. However, a few travel-based companies do offer workations to their employees for a month or week. Due to Covid 19, many companies are working at 50% capacity and giving an opportunity to enjoy work and leisure holidays.

Hotels and other areas of the travel industry double-check customer safety and security parameters. They surround the individuals with a positive atmosphere, a good network, and energetic activities. This idea of a workation is helpful for those who get tired of their regular working environments and want changes in their lives.

Reasons Why You Need Workation?

Here are 5 reasons which explain why all working professionals need workations:

1. Increased Productivity

One of the most important benefits of this combination is good productivity. Companies apply this method because it’s a mixture of work and fun. It’s important to balance work and regular life but due to work pressure and the pandemic, people are not being able to take out time to explore or to go on vacation. Through workation trend, they can enjoy the work with beautiful sceneries and beautiful views. It will help in reducing daily stress which will surely increase your productivity.

2. Spike in Creativity

Creativity happens when the person is in the best mood to think something different. That’s what workation does! It offers relief from the stressful environment and your chaotic life. You can find escape in the mountains or beaches to think of something new and creative. It’ll support you in thinking out of the box. That’s the reason why companies adopt workations to develop creativity and innovation in the employees.

3. Much-Needed Break From Your Regular Life

There is no doubt that daily life is hectic and chaotic, and we all need breaks from time to time. Through this, you can take a little break from your office life and engage yourself with the mountains and beauty of Mother Nature. Increased flexibility, good mood, and positive outlook are the topmost benefits of this technique.

4. Vacation with Rejuvenating Food

Suppose you are being paid for enjoying your life in an exotic destination. Sounds like a dream, isn’t it? That’s workation for you. Due to an increased health consciousness, amenities like healthy and organic food, along with suitable beverages, are being prepared by the locals. In a  workation, every meal provides freshness and pleasure to the body. It is the perfect way to be able to recharge and prepare oneself for the future challenges of life.

The workation is an accepted reality that will help deal with a post-Covid world.
